BIOGRAPHY

Inya is an artist and writer living and working in Transylvania, Romania. Growing up surrounded by artistic people, breathtaking scenery, vast mountains and deep forests filled with legends, made this artist’s imagination expand from a very young age.

As a child she spend most of her time drawing and coloring, knowing right from the beginning that art was going to be her passion in life. After a BA in PR and Communication Sciences and a MA in Mass-Media and Communication she knew it was time to do something that would make her soul happy. Be it written word in the form of poetry, short fantasy stories that brought national recognition or illustration, she was working her way up the artistic ladder. The love for the Gothic culture, fantasy books and fairytales provided the ingredients necessary to make the potion that defines her style of illustration.

Her traditional work uses primarily graphite as her go-to medium. Graphite is special and magical and adds to her practice for peace of mind each and every day. However, she enjoys exploring the world of colored pencils, ink and watercolor, and a touch of digital is a must to complete the gang. With three solo art shows and clients from across the world, the quirky, funny and sometimes mysterious illustrations are a favorite amongst children and adults alike.

Wanting to share her love for stationery and art, she brought them together in a collection of notebooks now available through Amazon, worldwide! She is inspired by mystery, fantasy, nature but also everyday life, as you can find in the vast array of artworks you can find signed by her online and on her socials.
