For years I've imagined writing my first blog post and for tooooo long I've postponed it, and with it that great feeling of putting my thoughts out for the world to read and my work out for the world to see.
And then, I've decided that putting aside things that make me feel warm is not a great idea. so here I am. Hello! I am Inya, I live in an amazing city in Transylvania, RO. Yes, that Transylvania and yes, it is as magical as you can imagine. If you want to know a bit more about myself please visit my BIO section here on the site.
So how did I get here and where is this going? You see, some things are clear from the beginning. I always knew I was an artist! I fed my creativity well ever since I was a child and I can still remember how, just before going to sleep at grandma's house, I would draw in my head that elephant that the next morning would be transferred on paper. Or how I looked at this one book cover (white drawing on a dark blue background) with two kids on the Moon -or was it on a star- imagining I drew that and my name was under the "Illustrations by" section. It was like meditation.
All these were like rich plant food for little growing me. And then my tremendous love for pens, pencils and paper followed like a good rain. I could not stop learning about this stuff. All the goodies that I got sparked so much joy in me, which let all the creativity flow like a beautiful river.

Yes! I do get inspired by my supplies! Would I make art with a stick in the sand if needed? I would and I did, but isn't it so charming to hold your fantastic pen or tool of choice? Recorded in history, many artists and writers had very special relationships with their instruments and tools. No wonder why! It becomes an extension of your being, translating what you see in your mind into movement into a fresh new world. It's absolutely amazing!

At first, to be honest, I thought I had an addiction and it very well might be one, but I did end up finding my tribe online! There are plenty of people like me who love their tools and give special attention to pencils, pens, inks, paper and little beautiful stationery items such as erasers, sharpeners, even paperclips. The love is real! The little things that many might not even bother to notice, spark something in us, they ignite and fuel at the same time a creative flow. Isn't that something?

But wait...where am I going with this? Well, let me tell you, friends. I want this little blog to be a place on the vast internet where I can talk about my tools and my love for them. A space where I can show you what I love to use and how I use them. Articles of reviews and appreciation posts about the ink, graphite, watercolors and things that make me so happy and that light up the joy of creating in me!
I hope you'll enjoy them and maybe get inspired, as well!
